Gospel Music will be provided by the Higher Ground Male Quartet. They will begin singing in the auction building at 9:30 a.m. They will also sing at various times throughout the rest of the day at the Chicken BBQ.
Lynn Atkins has been a supporter of Country Fest for years. He has made numerous wooden items for the auction in the past and this year he is doing the same.
Mr. Atkins used a slab of wood from his property to make this beautiful bench.

Even though we had some rain on Saturday, it did not put a “damper” on the day.
“Stars Over Georgetown” (on left) was the highest selling quilt of the day.
We were thankful to be able to have the Ariel Candy Drop in spite of the weather forecast.
Country Fest is happening right now at the Garrett County Fairgrounds. It’s open until 4:30 pm. Hurry over while you still can!
The people of Bittinger and Pillar of Life churches and their friends have much to do today because tomorrow is the Big Day. Among other things, many pies have been baked in preparation for tomorrow. We hope to see you there!
